Why was The Lord Jesus Christ… Crucified? What is The Gospel?

The Gospel is the best news one could hear… At the same time, news that would be rejected… or even worst taken lightly and become lukewarm… to be mocked, to made fun of, to make it look like it is not fitting in this “new age”… How I long to see such great Revival in the eyes of man to have that glimmer of unquenched flame for Jesus Christ our Lord. That indeed… would spark a movement and an impact to shake religious foundations, again… and again… and again.

I would love to say just this. The song service won’t save your soul… Banners being waved to and fro won’t bring you to heaven… Even owning a Bible won’t make you a Christian that will be with The Lord Jesus Christ at the end of your days… It is The Works that has been done on the cross… The blood that was shed… has appeased God’s Just Character...

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

What preceded after the burial… the Power of God raised The Lord Jesus Christ from the dead and is placed on the Right Hand of Him in the heavenly places. A profound victory that would indeed change the very history of mankind… People that would spread the Good News being witness of the cross, the resurrection and the ascension of The Lord towards Heaven… Knowing that He will come back again…

The Gospel needs to be

preached and it needs to be known.

If NOT… people would not know

why exactly Jesus died for…

Jesus Christ, our Lord… died for our sins, our wickedness and our evil state. Before we would even believe in Him as Lord and Saviour, we were in a state where we are going straight to hell… we were sinners to begin with… It is because of Him, Jesus… we are being justified freely. Without Jesus, there would be no other way to God. For it is written;

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The Book of John, Chapter 14, Verse 6

And thinking of that, one must understand that God is Just… He is a Just God Who has created hell for the Devil and his fallen angels… because of the sins that was committed. Yes… God is Just that indeed

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

 The Book of Romans, Chapter 6, Verses 23

The wages of sin is death, and there wouldn’t be a substitute that would appease God’s Justice if indeed the wages of sin = death.

That the punishment of sin is = death

In other words. Hell.

Praise God, and Glory to God… that Jesus Christ, our Lord Jesus Christ was a Person… Who never knew sin… Never sinned… the spotless lamb… innocent of the charges of the Pharisees… the accusations he was given… the crown of thorns… the mocking of the roman soldiers… the betrayal of Judas… the denials of His own disciples… left alone… the carrying of the Cross… the Scourging… Everything that happened, before the crucifixion and during the crucifixion… at the end of it He said

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. …

The Book of Luke, Chapter 23, Verses 34

The Words of Jesus

When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.

The Book of John, Chapter 19, Verse 30

Jesus… a person Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus

That God became both Just… and the Justifier of those who believes in Jesus. That through Christ Jesus our Lord, Redeemer, Healer… SAVIOUR…

The wages of sin would be fully paid for…

The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand:

repent ye, and believe the gospel.

What is Heaven? What is Hell?

The funny thing about Hollywood making "godly" movies is evident where people don't seem to notice the terror that follows... If Heaven is real... It is an irony that some miss out Hell is very real too.

Before you start saying "Here we go, Albrecht is being a religious nut again..." Maybe you can say, "Cool, let's see what Al has to say today" colonthree emoticon

As the day of Noah where Planet Earth was flooded (Yea, Hollywood kinda made that into a movie as well), it was simply an outpouring of God's Wrath. To those who has rejected, mocked or even ridiculed the Living and Eternal God... One must understand the price is.. eternal.. as well.

Why... why... WHY???

"For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse." -The Apostle Paul-

Hell is not a place where the devil will torment you day and night... (as wrongly pictured) it's pictured where the devil himself will also be tormented day and night... under God's Wrath.. His eternal wrath is Hell. You imagine you're up against an angry God, Who created Heaven and Earth... The whole solar system, the sun, the moon and the stars... it would be worst than the flooding of the Earth.

They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

 -The Book of Matthew-

A place with no hope, total darkness, oblivion, where weeping and gnashing of teeth can be heard. Why? The revelation of of you knowing that there is a God... and yet you have lived life as if there is none... and throughout eternity there would be this grief that you once had that chance to receive Truth but didn't... simple Truth.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

A truth where you could have accepted... believe... confessed... that the Cross is all you need in life... That Jesus Christ is Lord... Repent... Turn away from... to give up your sins... to give up living in sin... Turning to God, and clinging on His Anointed One... A Truth whereby maybe a friend... or maybe a colleague... your own mother, your own dad... brother, sister, cousin or whoever it was shared to you a simple Truth about the Gospel of The Lord Jesus Christ... and you rejected. I am sharing this to you... every second you spend in hell... it would be filled with a deep cutting agony that you wished you would have just accepted The Good News and Lived for Jesus Christ, The One and Only Savior that you'll ever need in life.

Is Heaven real? Yes. Is Hell real? Yes.

It's not worth the risk to continue to live in sin. Jeopardizing your very own soul. To turn your back on God, rejecting the Cross... is like a ticket bought by your very own hands to be in a very fearful place... The Wrath of God Himself, a judgement towards sin. I would not dare to imagine hell...

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Turn to God, cry out to Him, believe in The Gospel... No matter how great is your transgression, He is Faithful to forgive you of your sins if you would repent of your sins, humble yourself before The Lord and do not keep that pride of yours... to know your dire need of a Savior is the best revelation one can have in his/her lifetime. Because one can not save his or her own soul from the coming wrath with any filthy rags.

It won't be funny anymore when that Day would come... When every single person stands before The Throne...

Should you commit suicide?

Last year, my friend was so close of killing himself,,, Wanted to jump from a building only to be saved by a policeman before he could even jump... Makes me realize something very real... Please do read on. I really do appreciate close friends... new or even old...

Life sucks sometimes... But... Not all the time... Remember the good memories?

If any of you are depressed in life, or even thinking of ending your life quickly... Maybe thinking there's no reason to live on. Things could change, things can get better and somehow, it's like this grace coming into your life just blessing you to turn things around in the challenges you are facing if you keep the will to move on through the storm.

Choose to live

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” - Jesus Christ -

If you're going through depression... Seek Jesus in your life and seriously, if you begin to ponder on the Love God has given you, you could be amazed on how important you are to Him and how He longs to have a relationship with you.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” - the Apostle Paul -

Sometimes, when you can't manage to solve a problem or even find a solution to anything... Get down on your knees and begin praying to God. I'm telling you this, because God cares for you. He is not a God Who doesn't answer prayer... It would be pointless to even have the word "prayer" in the dictionary if it's not even practical to actually pray. Prayer works. Prayer gets answered. and finally, at most cases... You yourself have to pray for your own situation. Because if you don't start believing God can help you when you yourself (or anyone in this entire planet) can't do anything about your own messed up situation... That's when you lose HOPE.

And seriously, He really... really... likes you

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” - the prophet Jeremiah -

Be hopeful and avoid taking the easy way out of troubles... (killing yourself in the process or killing yourself slowly by some other means), God has no evil plan or intentions against your life. He is a God who will come to your aid as you seek His Help. His Provisions and His Mercy & Grace... What father would give a son a stone when he ask for bread? How much more will God loves those who take refuge under Him?

Sometimes, you just need to throw out some unnecessary baggage in Life out the window...

Some things are better left unattended... thrown out... or even let go...
