Should you believe Jesus or not?

Deep inside everyone... There is this need to know the divine... To "see it to believe it"... To be appalled by miracles or some sort of 'magic'... Illusions, street magic, whatever you like to call those weird things.

Yea, that's magic... yea... *dee* *dum* *dee* *dum* *dum*... magic...

And some of us buy it... some of us don't. Because seriously, when someone tries to escape from a tank filled with water being chained and locked inside it... succeeds... We get amazed on the performance. Some, might question the credibility of the performance, debating needlessly about the genuine art of the 'magic' involved. Dragging things towards endless debates about who is right and who is the dumb one. Which to me, is sad... Because the same thing happens elsewhere, say... religion.

In a world that is face paced and also blooming with all sorts of belief systems, I do not blame the average person to be confused about who's right and who's wrong... I am not surprised that many individuals comes up with their own definition of life... some try to be a 'good' person who does good things by giving food to the poor but fails to be a 'good' man in speech who lies all the time or even rapes children... Some might be in good conduct in praying and also helping the old people... ending up in alcohol abuse and drug overdose... It's really confusing out there isn't it...

There... there...

With all the evil going around the world and men, women young or old blaming God to be the villain of "not doing anything"... Some would even declare "I DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD BUT I AM ANGRY AT HIM"... (Pause, ponder upon the words... then realize it's a...) Totally a dumb way to contradict yourself with a foolish statement.

Questions arises... "Why is God not helping me?"... "Why is God not doing something about the evil in this world?" "Why is God not fair?"

And then we have the people who tries to help those who asked those questions... Only ending up in a fierce debate about needless things...

No!!! God took my daddy away, I hate him!!!

I have learned in my 4 years of walking and declaring myself as a Christian, I have personally concluded that sometimes... people are totally ignorant about everything and no matter how much you try to convince them about the existence of God... OR what Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior has done for them... It still falls down to one thing... (EVEN IF THEY BELIEVE THERE IS A GOD)... One must make his or her own decision about their stance in life. Because FAITH is not from man himself, truly... FAITH comes from God Himself... If there is no God, there would be no need of FAITH in the 1st place. Because He exists, It is He Who provides the FAITH that He was, He is and He will always be... God.

That was a little extreme...

"... For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. ..."

The Book of Romans by The Apostle Paul

It is a decision of oneself, to believe or not to believe... Once a person has hardened his or her heart towards the Truth... One is not rejecting another man's opinion, but... really... One must also weigh the reason such outstretched arms was given at the 1st place. For one soul was touched by The Love of Christ, to share the Love received freely towards others in need. for it is written...

"... Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give. ..."

The Lord Jesus Christ; adapted from the Book of Matthew

It baffles me sometimes that one person would be so sure of themselves that their decisions in life to rebel against God's mercy and grace would not have any consequence in the end.

"... But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. ..."
The Apostle Paul; The Book of Romans

When it comes to Christianity, it's not about us trying to conquer the world... It's about the fear towards the Wrath of God which is to come... and the Best Good News we can somehow share to you is of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to escape His Wrath...

One of these days... I'll be writing on why I left Buddhism and believed that Jesus Christ is Lord...
